Thank you for your valuable service. Rob and I met through your website in August of 2003. After two weeks of emailing and talking to each other on the phone, we met for the first time. After 3 dates, we knew we had something special. We continued to date and in October of 2004, Rob proposed. We just got married in May of 2005 at a beautiful church ceremony with all our family and friends.
Thank you CS for providing a forum for Catholics to meet who are serious about their faith. Rob and I both were and had trouble in the past finding someone with a deep commitment to their faith. We had tried the traditional single groups, church groups, and friend fix-up route to no avail. Rob and I both knew what we were looking for, and after reading each other’s profiles, we knew the other was serious about their faith and about finding a mate. That was confirmed through our subsequent conversations. Who would have thought one little email could bring a guy from the City and a girl from the burbs to each other, but here we are and we are extrememly grateful.
To those of you still looking, we offer our story as a sign of hope. This method may not work for everyone, but it is an option and it can have great results. Just pray for God’s direction and He will lead you.
