After another single birthday in the fall of 2003 and following a Christian friend’s advice, I decided to channel my energy into a Catholic site with the hope of finding a partner who would share my religious beliefs. Pete returned from the holiday season in Spain with similar thoughts in mind. In late February 2004, we swapped a few emails and agreed to meet over a casual dinner on March 5th. After an almost 3-hour dinner, we knew we had a lot in common. Despite being raised in opposite ends of Texas and traveling throughout the world to different places, we both had similar stories to share about family, friends and dreams. Within a few dates, it was clear we were meant to find each other. We were engaged 4 months later and married on January 22, 2005.
We will always thank God for blessing us in our relationship and will be grateful to CatholicSingles.com for providing the venue for us to meet!
