Brian and I met on the Catholic Singles website in August of 2003. I had only been a member for a few months when I came across Brian’s profile. As it turned out, Brian was only a few weeks from his subscription expiration when I e-mailed him. We e-mailed each other a few times, and then finally progressed to the phone. Our first conversation lasted two hours and ended with us finding out that we had the same birthday exactly six years apart!
The similarities didn’t end there and we had our first date on September 20th, 2003. Since that time, Brian and I have been steadily dating and have endured a lot together, including my mom being diagnosed with cancer. Through it all, our Catholic faith has not only kept us together, but allowed us to grow closer and more in love. On August 10th of 2004, Brian and I got engaged at LOVE Park in Philadelphia. Our wedding is set for December of 2005. I can say with absolute certainty that Brian and I are soulmates and that Catholic Singles was the vessel that brought us together. We feel especially blessed to have found each other and thank the Lord for introducing us to each other through Catholic Singles.
