I had joined Catholicsingles.com in early 2007 after being in a brief relationship with someone I had met through a different site. I knew I wanted to find someone who shared my same Catholic beliefs. I had met a few women through your site but I felt that I was trying too hard and I took several mini-breaks throughout my time on your site only to return with a clearer vision of what was meant for me.
In November 2007, I was in the chat room conversing with the usual group when Jenny73 entered. I was being polite and said hello and continued my chat with others. Jenny would interject with her comments and then sent me a private message commenting on one of my own messages. Over the next couple of weeks our conversations continued and progressed from chats on the computer to phone calls. We decided that we wanted to meet each other (even though) Jenny is from New Jersey and I am from Massachusetts and so we agreed to meet at Dunkin Donuts in Conneticut that lasted 13 hours. The next time we saw each other was Christmas when she came to Massachusetts for New Years Eve. After that we saw each other every other weekend. We continued to discern where our relationship was going and how were we going to make the distance thing work. We continued to see each other through the summer of 2008 and our feelings for each other continued to grow. We hated being apart from one another. After much discussion we decided that I would move to New Jersey. We became engaged and married on August 18, 2009. On September 21, 2010 we welcomed our son Ryan who is now four and a half. We can’t thank Catholic Singles enough for bringing us together.
