Well, I had been divorced for about 1 and a half years and had tried other dating services, mainly to get back into the swing again as it had been so many years since I had dated. I found that other web-based services were lacking what I wouldn’t compromise on – that was dedication to my Catholic beliefs. After doing a search, I came upon Catholic Singles.
I was browsing one day and noticed Donald’s profile and picture. We were both “older” and had had a lifetime of experience. We each knew what we wanted from life and one important thing was to find someone to spend the rest of our life with. Donald proposed to me in March of this year and we are planning to get married in 2006. Managing a long-distance relationship is very challenging but we’ve used modern technology, i.e., e-mail, cell phones, and of course, plane trips to one another’s home town to spend time together.
We are so compatible. Who would have thought that a friendship could blossom into something so wonderful? He’s truly my soulmate and he feels the same about me.
