Dear CatholicSingles: Kathy and I never would have met if it wasn't for your service, since we were 650 miles apart (Chicago and northern Minnesota). Well, things have progressed very, very well. We put our trust in the Lord and our Blessed Mother to find a way around all the obstacles in our path. Within three weeks of sending out the first resume, Kathy had landed a new job in Chicago that was also a HUGE promotion. The apartment search led us to a building owned by a man of strong Catholic faith, who rented her a two-bedroom apartment for less than many of the one-bedroom placed we had looked at. To make a long story short, Kathy and I will be married on September 8, the feast of the Blessed Mother's birth. We had both virtually given up on finding a partner who shared our Catholic values and faith in God, and then God used your service as the vehicle to bring us together. There can be no doubt that God's will is being done here, in our lives as well as many others through your work. Our prayers are with all of you who seek the happiness we have found.

You folks provide a wonderful service. I have met someone very special through this service. It has been a God send to my life. Often times in small rural communities it is difficult to meet people of similar faith and values. Catholic Singles has enabled me to reach out and meet some very nice people. Now that I have met that special one.. (he too was a Catholic Single) I am unsubscribing. I will miss the folks in the chat room, and would love to someday go to a reunion on the West Coast. Thanks for the opportunity to reach out and find someone. My advice to others is to hang in there, as unbelievable as it may sound, God has someone picked out for you. I was a member for about 6 months and met a lot of wonderful people. In June of 1999 a special man answered my ad. We wrote often and learned about each other. We met face to face in Oct. 1999. We lived a four hour drive from each other. He made the drive every other weekend. We became engaged in March of 2000. We got married on Dec. 28, 2000. I cannot thank you enough. I had given up on finding a Catholic Man. I found a wonderful man who truly walks with God and believes the teachings of the church. I never thought I would be admitting to people that I met someone on-line. I felt safe and because I placed my trust in God I found you and you led me to the love of my life. Family members constantly tell us that we have never looked better. Funny what Love and following God does for people.

"I am requesting that my membership on Catholic Singles.com be cancelled. It is not that I am unhappy with your service - quite the contrary - I am thrilled with what it has done for me. I have met a wonderful man that I am interested in dating exclusively. We have been corresponding for a few months now and he has visited me. We really hit it off and I plan on making a trip out to visit him soon. I thought that you would like to know that I have found a very special man on your web site. We have been chatting for almost three months but I feel like I have known him for a very long time. He lives several states away so we have only actually seen each other twice but we talk daily either on line or on the computer. It is wonderful to be able to go to a site and find someone who is of the same belief and faith as you are. We feel like God put us together -- we met in the chat room. My fiance & I met on CatholicsSingles.com earlier this year. We are now in the final stages of our wedding plans. We are getting married on November 25, 2000 . I sent emails to a few other members and received some from a few others. Nothing ' clicked ' at first. Then in early September I received an email from (someone) in southern California. That's a great deal more than 50 miles from the Detroit area where I live. I answered because she seemed quite interesting. We began to correspond via email outside of Catholic Singles. It was grand. A month later we met for dinner during a business trip I made to Orange County. We had a swell time. The relationship has progressed extremely well. We became engaged over the Christmas holidays and plan to marry this year. We began our journey on the Catholic Singles web site and will be eternally grateful that you made it possible.
