No one walks alone
If I were to live again, I would challenge everything from the crib. I would walk step by step to my own heart, not the one programmed through madness and mounting fears, but too love gently those I meet along the way, a path where life stretches ahead and no one walks alone. Too walk in this world less anxious and less frightened full of empty pursuits, ill founded hopes and untimely dreams, Too surrender to what is and love myself in innocence the sadness would disappear in the light on a path where life stretches ahead and no one walks alone. But for now, I seem to lose my self, in a place where captive crowds cheer And God is but memory shared in dark rooms, I sit listening to the hollowness in my own wounded heart. Climbing my own Everest, Freezing in the heat of others apathy Wishing I could find..... A path where life stretches ahead and no one walks alone. |
