WHERE WAS GOD?
BY: MARK ANTHONY ROSOLOWSKI

After the attack on the World Trade center on 9/11/01, I heard people asking, "Where was God?" I use to think that I had to give a logical and reasonable explanation to this question. I no longer have to think about an answer though, New York City Mayor Bloomberg has answered it all too well for me.

Many people questioned why there will be no spiritual leaders at the 9/11 memorial Service. To this question City Hall officials have confirmed, "That spiritual leaders will not participate this year, just as has been the case in past memorials."

The Mayor said, "I want the upcoming events to strike a similar tone as previous ceremonies," "There are hundreds of IMPORTANT PEOPLE, who have offered to participate over the last nine years, but the focus remains on the thousands of people who died on September 11."

Bloomberg has been mayor of NYC for the past nine years; he has excluded God from all the ceremonies. The mayor of NYC has told God, that He is not wanted, to get out and leave NYC to the important people." Do we really have to question where was God when we have leaders who do not let God into the places that He is needed?

My suggestion is to boycott those ceremonies that omit God from the memorial ceremonies and go to those that include God. We need God in out lives, we need God to be present, and we need to invite God into every aspect of our lives. He is the only IMPORTANT PERSON, who has not been asked to come to the NYC memorial service.
