QUESTION
BY: MARK ANTHONY ROSOLOWSKI

Why is the title question you might ask? That is a good question; honestly I do not know why I called it question, unless it is because so few titles of things start with Q.

I had a dream, I was in a beautiful garden, flowers as far as the eye could see. Trees were growing there with lush green leaves and luscious fruits of all kinds. Overhead birds were flying in such abundance; they cast shadows upon the ground. The songs of the birds soft and sweet were carried on the wind. Animals who should have been enemies were laying together in the meadow, sleeping peacefully.

Ahead of me I saw beautiful Golden Gates, I suddenly knew where I was, and I walked slowly towards the Gates. An angel that is how I must describe the entity that stood there was dressed in white and gold. I walked to the angel, I was in awe.

I looked at the angel and said, “I know what this place is, but there has to be a mistake.” The angel smiled at me and asked, “Mark, why do you think there was a mistake?” I was shaking as I answered, “With all that I have done, all the mistakes I made, all the times I tuned my back on God, and surely I do not belong here.”

The angel asked me to take a seat and wait for his return. I watched as the angel went through the gates, I knew he was going to check and find out that I did not belong here, why couldn’t I have been a better person while I was alive.

After a short wait the angel emerged from the gates, a man followed carrying a box of papers and folders. He placed the box on the desk near the angel and I saw on the box written in gold, “Mark’s Life”. The box was overflowing; papers were shoved in due to the lack of room for more.

The man started to pull the papers out one at a time, he told of the things I did wrong as a child, he went to my teen years and ended with my death. Upon hearing all the misdeeds I had done I looked at the man and cried, “I am not worthy to be here, it was a mistake, look at all I did in my life that was wrong.”

The man shook his head and opened a brief case, in it was one folder, on the folder was written, “Mark”, he opened the folder took out the one sheet of paper, it had writing on it, he slowly read it, then turned the paper so I could read it, “All debts, paid in full.” I asked how could that be, the man smiled, as he spread his hands I realized who He was, I fell to my knees as He spoke, “My son, I paid your debts for you, you returned that payment by your love for Me.” He reached out, took my hand, helped me to my feet, smiled and said, “Welcome Home, your family is waiting for you.”
