HELP YOU THROUGH

I met her in February 1979 and I did fall in love at first sight, there are doubters to falling in love at first sight but it does happen. We started dating in March of 1979, we knew it was love as we talked, held hands, hugged and kissed. When we were together we felt like we were one, every minute away from her was an eternity. As our love grew, she would tell me how she had never felt that way before and the feelings scared her. I would take her hand in mine, kiss it gently and tell her I would be there for her and help her through her fears. Together we could do anything.

The day before our wedding came, never had I felt so deeply in love. Love grows as time passes, the heart gives more and receives more, it is never ending and never full, there is always more to give and always room to take more. As we said good bye, the night before we were wed, as she went into your parent's house, I called out to her that I was scared. She returned to me took my hand in hers, kissed it and told me, he would be there for me, to help me through my fears. As she went into the house she looked back and said, together we can do anything.

Life continued on, we both expressed our love for each other and we would relay our fears. Every time one of us was afraid the other was always there to take the other's hand, kiss it and reassure the other that we would help the other through. Always ending with, together we can do anything.

The day came where we knew she was going to die. She told me she was afraid, she had never been this afraid, I took her hands in mine, as I kissed her hands I said through my tears, I would help her through, I will be there for her.

Now when I am scared and afraid I look at her picture, I tell her I am afraid, I feel her hand wrap around mine, I feel soft kisses and I hear her say, She will help me though, she is there for me, together we can do anything.

It is hard, but I move bravely on, facing the struggles that befall me, I am not alone and with love I can do anything. As I go out to love again, I am afraid, I am unsure of what will happen, but she is there to lead me, she loves me, and will not allow anything bad to happen. When I find this person I know she will be happy knowing that I have found love.
