Find Love Again
BY: MARK ANTHONY ROSOLOWSKI

I now walk alone on the path of life, a path you and I use to share. I come to the end of the path and see a beach that stretches for miles. As I watch the waves break on the shore I see footprints washed away, leaving no trace of their existence. I turn and look behind me, the path is gone, I am alone, I cannot return, I must move forward.

As I walk on the sandy shore the waves lick at my feet washing away the traces of sand from my feet and washing away the traces of my feet on the sand. I look out over the ocean, I see your face, and you are smiling, speaking to me, and urging me to go on. As I walk on I see a path leaving the beach into the woods.

I walk up to the path and look down at it. Even though it is overgrown with weeds and grass I can see a faint outline of footprints. I follow the path, each step I take the footprints become clearer and more distinct. The path is clearing up; there are fewer weeds, less overgrowth, just sand now with the footprints leading ahead.

I turn a bend and up ahead I see a bench with a figure sitting on it. I continue my journey till I get to the bench. I look at the figure sitting there; it is a lady I have never met. We both say hello at the same time, we laugh and again start to speak again at the same time. Finally I start, I tell her my story, and I end the story with “I am trying to find love again.

She looks at me and says, "God has told me that He would send me love again," she continued "As I came to this bench, God told me to wait here."

I asked "How will you know when love comes your way."

She looked at me, smiled and as she stood up, she reached out, she spoke softly, "You are the only one who has come down the path.", and I took her hand in mine.

We started down the path of life, together.
