re: I don't get it!

In the past 3 weeks, I have had 3 men contact me. One was thru the chat room, the other two emailed me. Each implied that they were interested in either talking on the phone or corresponding. In each case, I was happy to reciprocate. I was kept holding the bag as none of the men held up their part of the deal. You will notice that I refer to these guys as men, not gentlemen. In the event that any of the above are reading my post, none: life is too short, especially at my age. I do not need mail companionship. I did not invite you into my world. If your intentions are not sincere, do not contact me or any other woman.

I'm learning the knife cuts both ways on these singles sites. I am a guy who takes the time to read profiles and send original emails only to get the cold shoulder. Ignored. I guess it is something we will both have to get used to. Keep in mind, manners and courtesy have already died in this country.
