Members of Catholic Singles are looking for an enhanced life with a mate. Over 70,000 people are waiting for something more important than Mr. or Miss Right to enhance their lives. Their lives are not only incomplete, but difficult without that certain something. They are looking for a free gift from others that don't use it any more. Why, they ask, when the gift is so simple to give, don't more people recognize the importance of giving? All they have to do is designate themselves as organ donors on their driver's licenses! Right now there are 70,000 people waiting for kidney transplants. There are over 260 million people with kidney disease who may have that need at some time in the future. They may have any of a number of diseases that lead to kidney disease, i.e., diabetes, heart disease, hypertension, injuries, birth defects, drug injury (chemotherapy) or hereditary disorders that cause failure, i.e., fibercystic disease. The organ donation of one person could save as many as 8 lives, with kidneys, pancreas, lungs, hearts, and the list goes on. Just like your money, you can't take your organs with you. Please provide for others by becoming an organ donor.
