My niece turned 9 last week and since everyone was busy, her parents are going to have a birthday party for her this Saturday. I had asked her what she wanted for her birthday and she told me "a diary that opens to my vows." I understood the spelling to mean "voice" so her 13 year old brother can't get into it and read it. Naturally I got it for her, along with 3D chalk. Now I have to make her birthday cake of which she wants "a chocolate cake with white icing and lots of butterflies! Some should be flying like they are trying to get off the cake!" Always some sort of challange from her. I'll give her this, she keeps my life intersting and far from "boring". It gets really crazy when all the dogs come out to play too. One nine year old and 7 dogs!!
